Toltrazuril 25 mg
Properties
Toltrazuril disrupts the fine structure of coccidial development stages, causing swelling of the endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi apparatus, nuclear abnormalities, and reduced respiratory-chain enzyme activity, with no anticoagulant, analgesic or cardiac effects observed in laboratory studies.
Indications
Treatment and control of coccidiosis, active against all intestinal stages of susceptible coccidia; supports development of natural immunity in breeder and layer replacement stock under continuous challenge.
Dosage & Administration
Orally in drinking water.
Active ingredient: 7 mg/kg body weight.
Whole product: 280 ml / 100 kg body weight in drinking water for 25 successive days (2.5–3 ml/litre).
Warnings & Precautions
Compatible with antibiotics such as enrofloxacin, ampicillin, tetracycline, tiamulin and tylosin. Not for use in chickens producing eggs for human consumption.
