Dexa-Phen

Phenylbutazone is a powerful non-steroidal anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic acting mainly in early inflammation. Dexamethasone is a synthetic corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic activity acting in later stages. Together, an anti-inflammatory for cattle, calves, horses and foals.

Alleviation of pain and inflammation from musculoskeletal disorders and colic; combined with antibiotics for pneumonia, mastitis and metritis.

Cattle, horses & dogs: deep I/M or slow I/V.

Adults: 20 ml on day 1, then 10 ml daily for up to 4 days.

Calves & foals: 6–10 ml on day 1, repeated every other day as needed.

Not for lactating animals. Avoid in cardiac, hepatic or renal insufficiency, or advanced gestation. Gastritis and haemoglobinuria may occur with long-term treatment.

Store between 10–25°C, away from direct sunlight.
