Tonotest

An aromatic phosphorus compound; its precise mode of action is unknown but is understood to arise from multiple stimulation of body metabolism.

Cattle, sheep, goats, horses, dogs & cats: prevention and treatment of phosphorus deficiency, tonic/restorative for general metabolic disorders, skeletal defects (rickets, osteomalacia, fracture healing with vitamin D therapy), tetany and paresis linked to calcium/magnesium/phosphorus metabolism, and general debility including post-parturient and neonatal cases.

I.V., I.M. or S.C.

Equine & cattle: adults 1 ml / 50 kg (up to 1 ml / 10 kg for cattle on first intervention); young 1–2 ml / 10 kg.

Sheep & goats: adults 0.5–1 ml / 10 kg; young 0.5 ml / kg.

Dogs & cats: 0.5–1 ml / kg.

Repeat daily or every 2–3 days for 5–10 days per veterinary judgement; chronic cases may need 5–10 injections.

Use within 14 days of first withdrawal from the vial. Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substance or excipients. Overdose risks electrolyte imbalance.

Do not store above 25°C.
